 good activities for baby January 8, 2009
I thought this book was very helpful. I am the youngest in my family and the first to have a baby, I had ZERO experience with babies/kids. I thought this book was great as it helped me to know what types of activities I could do with my baby at an appropriate time. I also found all of the development information to be very helpful and interesting.

Helpful info. Like the tips for what to play with your little one. Great to know what baby is developing each week- I just have a hard time keeping up with it!

I have read many different books and I love this one. It is better than What to Expect in your Child's First Year and many other that I have read. You are able to see how they develop each week and it answers so many questions that you will have along the way. I found this to be the most helpful book out of many!!!

I purchased the "week by week" during my pregnancy and enjoyed the book, however, the "week by week" of the first year is no good. I have an eight week old and do not feel that the descriptions are very realistic. In addition, I do not feel that the information is very helpful. This book is not a good resource.

We received this book for free from neighbors whose baby is a few years older than ours. In short, I agree with the other one-star reviewers. This book is not worth it even for free. Probably the worst aspect of the book (though the poor organization is bad enough) is that it's riddled with factual errors. As others have pointed out, some of the factual errors are so bad they're not only dumb, but dangerous to your child.
This book should not only not be purchased by anyone, it should be taken off the market.
