Two boys' review: Good for a weekend but quickly gets old November 30, 2008 My sons, ages 6 and 4, are die-hard Batman fans and love all things superhero related. I was looking for a change of pace in our nightly bedtime story collection and picked this up.
The look and find books are good on two levels: first, you have fun searching the pages for Batman and villians; second, you expand vocabulary with a second and third review of the book. The illustrations are dense and there's so much activity your little Batman fan won't see it all in one sitting. However, kids memorize the book in no time, so you can't play look and find more than 1-2 times.
I'd recommend this higher if the book was interactive, allowing us to move Batman around so each time is different. As it stands, the book is great for a weekend's entertainment. Enjoy it and pass it along to another young superhero.
The Batman (Look and Find (Publications International)) April 11, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My four year old loves it! He is crazy about anything Batman though. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more of a challenge to find the objects on each page. That would be the only thing I would change.
Attractive illustrations! February 8, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My children spend hours searching the illustrations to find the items. It's a fun way to share a book!
My nephew loved it January 19, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My nephew is 5 and I bought him this book for Christmas. He was very excited when he opened it and has enjoyed browsing the book frequently ever since.
Great for kids who like Batman January 11, 2007 This is a sort of "Where's Waldo" book for kids that like Batman. The pages are colorful with a lot going on in each one. The pages have illustrations of a group of things that you can try to find on that page. Very fun!
