Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Written in a comprehensive and sensible manner, this book offers a new approach to the controversial subject of adults who were abused as children. The authors offer information, guidelines, exercises, and case examples to help the adult be a survivor, not a victim. An appendix suggests how to choose a therapist and/or self-help group to promote the change process.

4 out of 5 stars Good Start For Abuse Survivors   August 10, 2005

If you're looking to get out of the victim role or understand someone close to you who's in that role, this book is a great starter. It explains how people get into that role, which, in turn, is a repetitive downward spiral into a bleak existance. A good find.
