| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Written in a comprehensive and sensible manner, this book offers a new approach to the controversial subject of adults who were abused as children. The authors offer information, guidelines, exercises, and case examples to help the adult be a survivor, not a victim. An appendix suggests how to choose a therapist and/or self-help group to promote the change process.

Good Start For Abuse Survivors August 10, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you're looking to get out of the victim role or understand someone close to you who's in that role, this book is a great starter. It explains how people get into that role, which, in turn, is a repetitive downward spiral into a bleak existance. A good find.
