 Don't we all want a little Dominant Beast in our man December 22, 2008
I love Lora Leigh's books on the Breeds. They are fascinating, with enough hot sex to get you flushed. Definitely not a read for public commuters. Lol. I save them for home reading. Who wouldn't want a pr-ordained mate that would stay with us forever and always think we're sexy. A woman's ultimate fantasy. I have the whole collection. I eagerly anticipate the next new novel.
 Steamy but the heroine is a nitwit October 16, 2008
I loved the premise of the Breeds series (I'm a Sci-Fi fan) and I have to say that there are certainly better books than this in the series.
The most irritating aspect of this book was that the heroine seemed like a nitwit. She has to track down Callan and convince him to come forward,due to her ineptitude, he's aware of the fact that she's spying on him and dogging his steps. She knows that he knows but when she comes face to face with him feigns ignorance! I was so close to putting the book down then and there. She's got people bugging her to do the job she convinced them she could do but all she seems to be able to do is stuff around and be an idiot. Then, to compound her idiocy when she becomes mated to him and absolutely has to be 'with' him in order to stave off incredible pain and who knows what other ramifications, she goes running off having tantrums the whole time trying to get her big brothers to save her. I just wanted to take her and throttle her.
That said, if you just want the steamy scenes, there are plenty of them (which is the only reason I bumped it up to 3 stars instead of 2).
Oh, and the whole yelling of "MINE!" was getting just a bit out of hand - enough already!

Tempting the Beast is the epitome of what Lora Leigh is all about. Raw, sexy, primal. She doesn't fail to deliver. If you are looking for sweet, star gazing, chaste love, don't get this book. Its hot, erotic sex to the extreme with an interesting story thrown in. If that's what you are looking for, this is your book!

OMG, this is one the most tantilizing romanticas I have read. It is full of action, tempting banter, and vivid steamy scenes. It keeps you diving for more.

every book that i have read by this Arthur has just been lustful and steamy. it's just none stop, must read. i really love all of her books, at least all the one's that i have read. but if you are thing about reading this book I'm tell you it's a must!!
